Tree Skiing

After another long dry spell in Verbier, 18 inches of snow fell the night I got back to Switzerland from having rehab in London. We had a great day filming Nick Southwell in some trees around the area. With the improved conditions were looking forward to more backcountry action and a bigger park! Check out the freeze frames from some of the footage we got today.

Broken Hand!

On Thursday the 11th of January I broke my middle and ring metacarpals in my right hand while skiing. It’s going to take a couple of months to heal and I apparently will not be able to hold a pole for 4 weeks. Filming is still going strong!

Happy New Year

After 3 weeks of sunny blue skies it finally started snowing again in Verbier. With almost 2 feet of fresh snow on the ground and it still coming down heavily we decided to take advantage of the situation, however with most of the resort closed due to avalanche danger we turned our attention to the rails of the town. Nick Southwell and Naomi Edmondson both attempted a wooden down rail but after a brutal crash from Naomi only Nick managed to do it. With two filmers and photographers Rohan Shastri, Chloe Crewe Read and Camilla Stoddart taking photos we managed to get some great shots. Another great early season session!
