Sweden

A week after the season finished in Verbier, I headed out to Riksgransen in Sweden with riders Beanie Mile-Home, Chris Southwell and photographer Camilla Stoddart to film and produce an article for Fall Line. Freeriding opportunities were limited due to lack of snow and bad weather in the resort. However we were still able to find some wall rides, tree jibs and a train tunnel to jump off to get some great footage and photos.

Lake Skiing

The end of the season was approaching and we were running out of things to do in Verbier. There was definitely no freeride this late on and the park had started to melt so badly that there were rocks in the run in and out run of almost every feature. Because of the extreme heat up the mountain the snow started to melt on one of the runs and a small puddle started to form. The puddle began to grow about 2 metres everyday and towards the end it was getting close to 30 feet long. Everyone on the mountain took full advantage of this new feature and I got more crashes on film in those 3 days than the rest of the season combined. Just wait until you see the footage, complete carnage!
