Getting to Verbier and getting straight back into it!

When we arrived into Verbier the scene was very different from the year before. We were amazed to see the whole valley covered in the white stuff! It had been snowing continuously for days and the mountain was kept shut but on our first day in town they opened the whole mountain and we went out to get straight back into it. We couldn’t fully giv’er as there wasn’t much of a base and we hadn’t got our skiing legs back, but we had a great first few days and got some awesome early pow shots for the film. If this is a sign of things to come it’s going to be a sick year! Be back with more soon!

Proximus Xtreme 1/12/07

When Paddy Graham told me he was competing in a comp in Brussels and that I should tag along it seemed like the perfect way to get back into the skiing/filming side of life after so many months off. I booked a eusrostar and got into Brussels the morning of first day of the comp, Paddy and me explored the city before heading to the arena. The set up was incredible, there was a snow spine in the middle of the centre surrounded by FMX and ski doo jumps! The event was wicked with Paddy throwing some flat spins and 7’s on the spine while Nate Adams was launching some huge backflips on his bike and the ski doo’s were flying around the arena! To top it all off RUN DMC performed at the end of each night, we even got to party with DMC after the event. Awesome way to kick off the season!
